Basra University Organizes a Scientific Visit to Al-Fursan Academy

The College of Veterinary Medicine at Basra University organized a scientific visit to Al-Fursan Academy (Beit Almulla) as part of the applied education series for fourth-year students.

The visit aimed to familiarize students with different breeds of purebred horses and how to raise and manage them in terms of nutrition and care.

The visit included a tour of the academy's facilities, observing the stables, areas designated for growing fodder to feed the horses, and learning about horse training and preparation for local competitions. Additionally, students were introduced to the most common diseases that may affect horses and the methods for treating them.
