About the branch
The branch was established in 2013 after it was part of the Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine branch as one branch. The branch became independent with its teaching and professional staff, laboratories, and all related activities
Branch objectives
1. Provide the necessary qualifications to prepare a traditional veterinarian or doctors specialized in veterinary surgery and veterinary obstetrics to treat field and domestic animals in the region.
2. Keeping abreast of scientific developments in the field of basic and applied veterinary medical sciences
3. Communicate with the community by participating in following up on developments in these two areas
4. Preparing holders of higher degrees in applied veterinary medical sciences.
5. Communicate with modern medical achievements through residence and participation in relevant conferences, symposiums and courses.
