University of Basrah Organizes a Seminar on Fake Media

The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized an awareness seminar on fake media and its impact on society.

The seminar aimed to highlight the role of media and how to identify fake news spread across social media platforms.

The event featured a lecture by Mr. Ahmed Abdul-Jabbar Al-Mutairi from the humanitarian pulse team ( Nabd Al-Insani ), who shed light on fake media and the risks individuals may face, such as fraud, scams, or electronic blackmail. He also discussed effective solutions and the importance of seeking assistance from official authorities to handle such cases.
