University of Basrah organised a lecture on the importance of the green economy

The announcement of veterinary medicine

The College of Veterinary Medicine, in cooperation with the College of Education for Human Sciences have organised an educational lecture on the importance of the green economy and sustainable development.

The lecture aimed to determine the goals of green economy, sustainable development, environmental awareness, clean energy,promotionjobs, enhancement entrepreneurship.

The lecture was launched by one of the imminent staff members Ms. Sarah Salem. She explains in details the sectors of the green economy and the green jobs, in addition to encourage the cooperation between governments, private sector, and civil society. This leads to enhance job opportunities and supporting entrepreneurs, and small business, therefore contribute to environmental sustainability.
