University of Basrah Organizes a Volunteer Campaign for Gardening and Tree Planting

In conjunction with the afforestation and planting campaign launched by the President of the University of Basrah, and in an effort to expand green spaces on campus to create an aesthetically pleasing and student-friendly environment, the College of Veterinary Medicine organized a volunteer campaign to plant and landscape the college garden through self-initiated efforts.

The campaign aimed to promote and encourage volunteer work, motivating students to participate, engage with nature, and maintain the gardens.

As part of the campaign, various types of plants were planted in the college garden, including rose seedlings, small shrubs, and perennial trees.
