University of Basrah Organizes a Seminar on Exam Question Formulation

The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a seminar on the formulation of exam questions according to Bloom's cognitive taxonomy levels.

The seminar aimed to improve and develop the quality of education, enhance teaching effectiveness, boost students' ability for self-directed and continuous learning, and place greater focus on the quality and diversity of exam questions.

The seminar, delivered by Dr. Alaa Tariq Abdulwahid, covered designing exam questions based on Bloom’s taxonomy levels, ensuring coverage of all cognitive levels, and assessing students according to these criteria. Examples of constructive feedback were also presented.
