The University of Basrah achieved the top position in the results of the Iraqi Classification of Scientific Departments.

The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah recognised as the first top rank in the Iraqi Classification of Scientific Departments, based on the classification of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The College of Veterinary Medicine was awarded a special honour from the Ministerial Committee overseeing by the national classification, based on the international quality standards.

The Dean of the College, Dr. Jalal Yassin Mustafa, stated that this achievement stems from the combined efforts of all who involved in completing their assigned tasks and commitment to advance our college to the highest ranks on all levels.
