University of Basrah Organizes "Three Minute Thesis" Competition

The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized the international "Three Minute Thesis" competition, held for the first time at the university.

The competition featured presentations of research theses in just three minutes, delivered in a simplified and clear scientific manner before a specialized academic panel and an interested academic audience.

Seven postgraduate students from various scientific disciplines competed, with student Muhannad Hassan Lafta winning first place for his research project in the field of preventive internal medicine.

This initiative is considered a pioneering step for the University of Basrah, as it offers a unique opportunity for students to train in presenting their research ideas clearly and concisely, while also opening new horizons for students and researchers alike.
