University of Basrah organised a seminar regarding awareness on Haemorrhagic Fever

The college of Veterinary Medicine, university of Basrah organised the seminar about haemorrhagic fever disease, which constitutes a serious threat to livestock and public health. This seminar was prepared in cooperation with the veterinary hospital in Basrah.

The seminar aimed to highlight the importance of haemorrhagic fever disease, the reasons for its occurrence, and measures of prevention, as well as approach treatments.

The seminar was presented by Dr. Kamal Aldeen Alsaad, which comprehensively scoped the disease dimensions, when its firstly distributed, and effects on health and economy of our country.

Dr. Alsaad also gave a thorough explanation details about the methods to minimise the spread of the disease and the symptoms in humans and animals.

The seminar also addressed the prevention and control plans that should be followed to maintain the safeguard of community and livestock from this disease.
