
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah celebrated the Iraqi National Day, which falls on the 3rd of October, in an atmosphere filled with love and belonging. The occasion is a cherished national event that embodies pride in Iraq’s glorious history and the sacrifices of its scholars, martyrs, and heroes.
During the celebration, Dr. Mustafa Saddam Ghaji, Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, delivered a speech emphasizing that the National Day represents a moment of pride and loyalty to the homeland, and an opportunity to express sincere belonging to it. He stressed that today’s students are the generation of the future who will continue the journey of building and giving.
Dr. Ghaji added that this national occasion reflects the determination to move forward toward a prosperous and peaceful Iraq, affirming that “the Iraq we all love is our goal and our aspiration.”
