University of Basra Conducts Field Visit to Kuwaiti Surgical Hospital

The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basra organized a field visit to the Kuwaiti Surgical Hospital as part of its efforts to enhance the practical skills of graduate students.

The visit aimed to acquaint students with the operation of the Vitek and ELISA devices used in the hospital’s bacteriology laboratory, highlighting their significance in scientific research.

A group of graduate students and faculty members from the Department of Microbiology participated in the visit, which included introductory lectures and hands-on demonstrations presented by the hospital’s specialized staff.

The visit concluded with an emphasis on strengthening collaboration with health departments and arranging additional field visits to hospitals across the governorate, in order to promote the exchange of expertise and advance research and scientific consultation.
