college of Veterinary Medicine Wins the Women’s Table Tennis Championship

The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah achieved a remarkable sports accomplishment by winning first place in the Women’s Table Tennis Championship (single-elimination system) for the University President’s Cup, organized by the Department of Student Activities as part of its preparations for participation in the ministerial activity program.

The college team, represented by students Aya Hussein and Manar Abbas, delivered an outstanding performance, securing victory in the semifinal match against the College of Nursing, and continuing their excellence in the final match against the College of Medicine to claim the championship title and lift the University Cup.

This achievement reflects the college’s commitment to supporting student talents and encouraging their participation in various sports and extracurricular activities.
