A Veterinary Medical Team from the University of Basrah Performs Surgery to Remove a Tumor from a Ewe

As part of efforts to enhance the practical and training aspect for students… a veterinarian team from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah successfully performed a surgical operation to remove a tumor from the left side of a ewe’s abdomen.

The team included faculty members from the Department of Surgery, along with postgraduate and undergraduate students, in close cooperation with the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

This operation represents a key component of the educational and training procedures, in addition to the vital role played by the University of Basrah in graduating highly qualified veterinary professionals capable of dealing with various medical challenges.
