University of Basrah Holds Workshop on the Physiological Anatomy of Endocrine Glands

The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah held a workshop focusing on the physiological anatomy of endocrine glands and their influence on the health and behavior of both humans and animals.

The workshop aimed to acquaint participants with the locations and anatomical structures of endocrine glands in different animal species and in humans, as well as the hormones they secrete and the effects of these hormones on various body organs.

Delivered by a group of faculty members, the workshop featured a lecture that addressed gland anatomy, glandular distribution, hormone secretion, and the classification of hormones based on their chemical composition.
