The University of Basrah Organizes a Festival on the Occasion of International Human Rights Day

The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a festival marking the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, held under the slogan “Human Rights… A Shared Responsibility.”

The festival aimed to raise awareness of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and its thirty articles, as well as to promote a culture of human rights within communities, particularly among students and youths.

The event included an exhibition featuring informational materials on the articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, along with paintings and artworks expressing the values of freedom and justice. It also included sections presenting stories about the defense of these rights.
