University of Basrah Organizes a Campaign on the Role of University Students in Serving the Community

The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a comprehensive awareness campaign focusing on the role of university students in community reform and the relationship between veterinarians and environmental protection.

The campaign aimed to raise awareness among students and the local community about the importance of environmental conservation and pollution prevention. It also highlighted the vital role of the veterinarian as part of the One Health framework, which extends beyond animal care to include environmental stewardship.

The campaign witnessed active participation from students and faculty members, reinforcing the college’s societal and academic role in graduating qualified professionals whose responsibilities are not limited to the veterinary field alone, but also extend to contributing to sustainable development and environmental protection.
