University of Basrah Held A lecture of Promoting Awareness Concerning Animal Welfare 
The College of Veterinary Medicine, the University of Basrah organized an awareness lecture on animal welfare and the pivotal role of veterinarian practitioners. The lecture targeted the students and academic staff, and it focused on sustaining creativity and collaboration.
This lecture presented by Sarah Salem Mohammed, who displayed the dimensions of animal welfare from two perspectives included ethically humane, and scientifically.
The lecture ascertained that animal health represents a fundamental pillar to shielding human health security and maintaining ecological balance.
This episode is part of many activities of the college aimed at implanting a culture of social accountability in the younger generations and cultivating a soul of compassion and cooperation for the public interest.
