Under the theme “Towards a Green Basrah,” the University of Basra organized a festival focused on promoting afforestation and sustainable development.
The College of Veterinary Medicine hosted an environmental awareness festival titled “Towards a Green Basra,” aimed at strengthening environmental culture within the university community. The initiative aligns with sustainable development goals and seeks to revive and preserve Basrah’s environmental heritage.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Jalal Yassin Mustafa, commended the students for their outstanding efforts and creative initiatives, affirming the college’s full support for constructive ideas that enhance both the environmental and aesthetic aspects of the university and the city.
