University of Basra Holds the 9th “Leaders of Victory” Cross-Country Race Festival — College of Veterinary Medicine Wins First Place
Under the slogan “Leaders of Victory Festival,” and on the banks of the Shatt al-Arab, the University of Basra organized its ninth annual cross-country race festival, with wide participation from students, faculty members, and staff representing various university colleges.
The festival aimed to promote an environment of extracurricular activities on campus, as well as to strengthen competitive spirit and social bonds among university members and students in a patriotic and athletic atmosphere.
The College of Veterinary Medicine delivered a remarkable performance, participating with a delegation of seven athletes and securing first place in the staff category, achieved by Mr. Hassan Ali Yousif.
At the end of the race, the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs honored the winners, praising the achievement of the college and the outstanding organizational level of the festival.
