Students from the University of Basrah Launch a Volunteer Campaign to Rehabilitate Campus Gardens
Students from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah initiated a large-scale cleaning and rehabilitation campaign that covered the college corridors and gardens, in collaboration with the “Al-Rahma Student Team.”
The campaign included organizing green spaces and trimming large trees in preparation for the summer season. The students focused on shaping certain trees to create natural shade, providing a comfortable place for rest within the university campus.
Dr. Susan Abdul-Jabbar Abdul-Aziz, the supervisor of the student team, explained that this initiative is part of a series of regular activities carried out by the team. She emphasized that the campaign reflects the students’ sense of responsibility and their commitment to presenting their college in the best possible aesthetic form.
