The President of University of Basrah Honors Faculty Members from the College of Veterinary Medicine with the Shield of Excellence
The President of University of Basrah, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim Al-Asadi, honored faculty members from the College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Haider Rashid Dahham and Dr. Muhannad فارس Abdul Hameed, by awarding them the “Shield of Excellence” and a letter of appreciation in recognition of their outstanding role in achieving a new global academic accomplishment for the university.
This honor came following the remarkable success achieved by University of Basrah in securing second place locally among Iraqi universities in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI).
The university president praised the dedicated efforts and effective contributions made by the two faculty members, which directly enhanced the university’s standing in international forums and global rankings. He emphasized that this recognition serves as a strong motivation for all academic staff and researchers to continue their efforts and further elevate the name of University of Basrah in the fields of research and global innovation.
