Basrah University holds a scientific conference for students' graduation research

The College of Veterinary Medicine at Basra University held its ninth student scientific conference to discuss graduation research for students of the fifth stage of basic, clinical and semi-clinical sciences for the academic year 2020-2021 via the electronic platform (Google meet).

The conference aims to see the research development in all veterinary disciplines and to create a spirit of scientific competition among students.

The conference included the discussion of (57) scientific, applied and academic research, where the research was divided into (3) committees of professors of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in various specialties.

After discussing the research and the end of the sessions, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for the Conference, Dr. Hazem Taleb Thuwaini, announced the names of the students whose research won the first ranks. The research of the student Zina Abbas, under the supervision of Dr. Nawras Nouri, won, and the clinical science session won the research of the two students, Aseel Bassem and Talal Zuhair, under the supervision of Dr. Basem Kazem Khouri.
