University of Basrah publishes research on the rock of the ear of the shank fish

A research team composed of Dr. Azal Nasser Badr from the College of Veterinary Medicine and Dr. Saad Muhammad Salih from the College of Education for Pure Sciences, in cooperation with researchers from international universities, published a paper entitled (A Study of the Relationship of Length, Width and Weight in the Ear Rocks of Iraqi Shank Fish) in the Salantina Marine Journal within Clarvet containers. .

The research aims to find and determine the relationship in ear rock measurements to three types of shank fish collected from Iraqi waters.

The research concluded after collecting samples from three types of Shank fish in the Iraqi salt water and extracted ear rocks and took their measurements and were treated statistically to find the relationship between the body size of the fish with the biometric measurements of the rock where it was fixed.
