The Veterinary Medicine college hosted a lecture about community health and how to control contagious and non-contagious diseases. The idea of the lecture was to help the local community to evaluate public health, also it aimed to reveal factors that lead to a distribution of diseases.
The lecture, which was explained by dr. Mohanad Faris Abdulhaneed, had many aspects including people's old beliefs about epidemics and factors that caused its distribution. Dr. Abdulhameed discussed the challenges of contagious and non-contagious sicknesses and how it affects human health. He addressed the biological hazards and how they are treated and prevented. Finally, Dr. Abdulhameed proposed focusing on new strategic studies to help the community and reduce infections.
