Dr. Kamal Al-Din Al-Saad, a faculty member at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah, has published a scientific paper on chronic progressive pneumonia in sheep in Basrah province.

The aim of the research was to document data on this important disease affecting sheep, highlighting its prevalence, significance, and its health and economic impacts.

The research concluded that this disease has significant clinical effects that often result in the death of affected animals, and therefore, preventive measures should be taken to limit its spread.
