
The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah, Dr. Jalal Yaseen Mustafa, received Major Mohammed Al-Maliki, the Security Officer of Universities and Institutes in Basrah Province, in a visit aimed at enhancing joint cooperation between the two sides in areas of security awareness and community education within the university campus.
During the visit, a presentation was given highlighting the college’s major achievements at both the scientific and academic levels, as well as the efforts of its teaching and administrative staff in supporting students and providing a stimulating educational environment that contributes to developing their scientific and practical skills.
Major Al-Maliki commended the advanced level achieved by the college, emphasizing his commitment to strengthening cooperation through the organization of awareness workshops addressing topics such as cyber extortion and other issues relevant to university students’ lives.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Major Al-Maliki for his visit and continued support, affirming the college’s readiness to cooperate with various security and community institutions to promote a safe and integrated university environment.
