Basra University discusses febrile virus screening in buffalo calves

 A master's thesis in the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basra discussed (clinical diagnostic of viral diarrhea  in buffalo calves in Basra province).

 The thesis of the researcher Hussain Abdul Karim Abdul Wahid included the clinical and laboratory diagnosis of bovine diarrhea virus in buffalo calves, evaluation of possible biological markers of serum and the changes that the disease causes on intestinal tissue and blood, and evaluation of the status of , blood clotting factors time and acute phase proteins.

 The thesis aimed to study the most important clinical manifestations that appeared on animals infected with bovine diarrhea, to assess the blood changes, clotting factors, and acute phase proteins of infected buffalo calves, in addition to studying the pathological changes of dead or slaughtered buffalo calves and confirming the diagnosis using PCR technique.
