The Veterinary medicine college at the University of Basrah organized an online workshop under the title Tissue cultures: stem cell isolation methods. 
The workshop aimed to introduce participants to a correct way to isolate stem cells and obtain a healthy culture.
Dr. Hiba Mohammed, Dr. Azal Nasir, and Dr. Mustafa Sadam lectured in this workshop which included an introduction to stem cells, classification of stem cells, and methods used in stem cell isolation. Besides, the workshop included steps of cell culture maintaining and growing.
