*University of Basrah Holds Training Workshop on PCR Technology*

The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a specialized training workshop for postgraduate students entitled *"Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Technology: From Theoretical Principles to Research Applications."*

The workshop featured lectures delivered by Dr. Rasha Munther Othman and Dr. Hassan Mohammed Jassim, offering participants a comprehensive overview of the fundamental principles and practical procedures of PCR technology. The program also included hands-on training in DNA amplification techniques and their applications in genetic diagnosis and scientific research.

The workshop concluded with a recommendation to organize more practical training workshops for postgraduate students to enhance their technical skills and prepare them for conducting research effectively.
