University of Basrah Honors Its pioneers

In a warm atmosphere filled with appreciation and gratitude, the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a ceremony to honor a group of its esteemed faculty members on the occasion of their retirement, as well as to recognize several administrative leaders who have successfully concluded their service within the college.
The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Jalal Yassin, stated that this event represents a symbolic gesture of thanks to a pioneering generation that laid the cornerstone of this scientific institution and devoted their knowledge and lives to its growth and distinction. He affirmed that their invaluable contributions will remain permanently engraved in the memory of future generations and within the college itself.
Dr. Yassin also praised the dedicated efforts of those who held administrative responsibilities, noting that their commitment and perseverance were clearly reflected in their work. He emphasized that, through a strong spirit of teamwork, they demonstrated the highest standards of devotion and selflessness, playing a vital role in advancing the university as a whole and enhancing the performance of the college in particular.
