University of Basrah Holds Festival Honoring Students
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a festival to honor students who participated in university student activities for the academic year 2026.
This initiative aimed to encourage students and motivate young talents to actively engage in student activities, including sports events.
During his speech at the festival, the Dean of the College, Dr. Jalal Yassin Mustafa, stated:
"Student activities serve as an outlet for students during their academic journey, a means to express talents and hidden potential, and a way to build a strong generation capable of handling life’s pressures." He also extended special appreciation to the Student Activities Unit for their efforts in organizing the event in a commendable manner.
At the conclusion of the festival, all participants were honored through the distribution of gifts and appreciation awards, in recognition of the winners and in appreciation of everyone who contributed to elevating the college’s name in sports and student events.
